Why cows, buffaloes and other grass-eating animals cannot chew food properly at the time they take it in?

animals such as cows , buffaloes and other grass eating animals cannot chew food properly at the same time cuz they eat grass which is rich in cellulose and cellulose cannot be digested easily...it requires a bacteria which can digest it.
