Why cream separates when centifugation of milk is done?

heya!!
centrifugation works on the principle of centrifugal force. when when it is rotated on high speed in a centrifugal rotator then centrifugal force acts on it and the cream separates .the cream separates from the milk because the particles of cream are heavier and dense so they settle at the sides of the rotator and the milk being lighter comes in the middle of the rotator and this is how it separates.
