Why cu2+ solution give blue colour on react with ammonia?

ammonia act as a lewis base, so that it is electron rich whereas copper ion act as lewis acid, hence it is electron defficient.

so the formation of bond between electron rich Nd electron defficient results in formation of deep blue coloured solutn as

Cu2+ 4NH3 (aq) -----> [Cu(NH3)4]2
