why current is a scaler quantity??? ​

Explanation:

current is taken as scaler quantity

becouse it does not

depends on direction for its influence

but in actual it is neither scaler nor vector it is a tensor quantity

Current is obtained as dot product of cross area of conductor and current density,which on their part are vectors . Hence it is scalar ...and not vector or tensor.In fact Tensors are related to scalars but current on its part is not tensor .It is a pure scalar
