The direction of induced current is predicted using Lenz's law. So, currentis induced in a direction so as to oppose the increasing magnetic flux. Therefore, direction of current is clockwise in ring 1 and anticlockwise in ring 2. A cylindrical bar magnet is kept along the axis of a circular coil.
