Stability of Tropylium ion is more than cyclopropyl methyl carbocation due to following reasons:

- Due to the conjugated system, tropylium is highly stable i.e resonance stabilized.

- Due to the distribution of positive charge by the number of atoms and is less string tricyclopropylmethyl is less as compared to tropylium ion.

- Tropylium shows seven resonator structure as in tropylium the number of canonical forms is more.
