Dairy is a popular economic activity in a village because villagers are not very educated . They rarely get jobs but they have cows and buffaloes. To earn money they use their milk by making cheese ,butter etc. This is the reason why dairy is so popular in villages..

Dairy is said to be an important economic activity as villages are not that technologically enhanced therefore they lack secondary sector and tertiary sector jobs so Dairy and agriculture are important primary sector jobs and the only ways of earning a living in small villages.
Moreover villages offer good infrastructure for the activity of dairying with a vast amount of space and cheap labor which reduces the cost of dairying to the villagers and gives them a chance to earn profits.
