In a democratic form of government, the political leaders are elected by the citizens of the country. Like in India the representatives hold their seats for a period of five years. So, elections in India are held after every 5 years and because of this the dictatorial form of government is avoided. However, this also leads to instability in the governance of the country as well as in the government.
