There are many of the benefits of democracy but some of them are:

•It gives individuals more freedom and doesnt enforce so much things as more authoritharian systems;

•It makes impossible for the State to abuse its citizens, but as a consequence of giving the State few power it also means that the State can’t help the people so much and it limits the amount of improvements that the State can do;

•Freedom of speech— this is not a thing that only exists in democracies and it has been limited by the current liberal governments who dont want people to get informed or criticize their ideology. Still it is more common in democracies and theoretically it is assured but that isnt so true in practice as people who are against democracy or criticize it are demonized and silenced;

•It is more tolerant;

•It gives everyone the right to decide who will rule to the people, but this leads to politicians basically “buying" people and fool the ignorant public( the majority of people) into electing them.

•There arent many benefits that democracy gives , it gives more guarantees that the State cant do anything against you and gives more freedoms than actual benefits.

•It is important to note that even democratic leaders , like Winston Churchill, consider democracy as a bad system but still better than the existing others.

\color{blue}{Democratic \:Government} is certainly better that its alternatives. Democratic government is legitimate government. It may be slow, less efficient, not always very responsive or clean.But a democratic government is \underline{people's\: own\: government.}
