Why did a civil war break out in brussels? list out the setbacks?

The civil war broke out in Brussels because of the following reasons:

a. The French speaking community were economically and educationally were relatively better of than the Dutch speaking community who got such benefits much later.

b. Another cause of tension was that though the Dutch speaking community was majority in the country who tried to exercise its domination but they were rather in minority in the capital city of Brussels.

c. In an attempt to assert their will by both the french and Dutch speaking communities to establish control over Brussels , tensions erupted.
