Answer:
Need For National Education
Explanation:
Since time immemorial, we are familiar with the Gurukula system, Madrasa system and Catholic system of education of the children before 1800. The major drawback of this type of education was that it provided a highly religious aspect of knowledge. Take Gallelio for instance. When he rejected the idea that the Earth was in the middle of the solar system, Catholics put him in house arrest till death. There were more cruel and unscientific methods through which the religious organization thought India practiced in the same time. This was noticed by Britishers, who were more scientifically educated than most Europeans.
Warren Hastings, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Mahatma Phule and his wife, Iswara Chandra Vidyasagar were some of the emminent personalities who fought to give both boys and girls of all religion, caste and creed scientific and correct education. It is their Strong Ideals that we even continue to follow to this day
Hope it helps.
