Heya...!!!
In the story ‘The Letter’ Ali had been a skilled hunter or shikari in his youth.
He could hunt and kill a brown partridge that could not even be detected by dogs.
He was very fond of fishing and would often go for it with his friends.
As he grew older he became aware of the pain that the animals must have gone through when he killed someone from them.
He only had a daughter and she was also not in touch with him.
This made him realize the anguish of parting and he gave up his old ways.....!!
