because Germany had attacked on the ship in which some American were traveling American government warned Germany but it didn't listen so USA ENTERED THE WW1

The United States of America joined the World War I because of Germany continued to wage unrestricted submarine warfare which had resulted the sinking of ships of America. So United States declared entry into the World War First in defence of liberty it established itself of leader of the free world.
