Answer:  The main reasons of the attack on this city were:

a)Jalal-ud-din, the executioner of Guru Tegh Bahadur belonged to this city.

b)Shashal beg and bashal beg, the killers of the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh also belonged to this city.

c)Ali Hussain who by his false promises had lured Guru Gobind Singh to evaluate Anandpur in 1704 also belonged to this city.

Explanation:

Therefore, the city of SAMANA was an accursed (disliked) place in the eyes of the Sikhs. The city was well fortified by strong walls. On 16 November, Banda singh Bahadur and Sikh forces entered the city from all sides and after 4 days of continuous fighting, the city fell in the hands of the Sikhs. The Sikh victory at Samana was followed by massive massacre of the Mughal army and terrible sack.On 20th November 1709, Banda appointed FATEH SINGH as the new head of the Samana city while he himself marched towards Sirhind to punish Wazir Khan.
