Why did Danny got the role of the Shadow Man

2:Danny is given the role of Shadow man as shadow man was a mature person and he had faced different sites of life but Danny was a teenager , was not mature and had not under gone experiences of life.One more reason is that as Shadow man was mature so people would believe him if he wrote this story but if Danny wrote this story no one would believe him.
