the different grps of ppl came to India for trade . India is famous for spices ,cotton etc. they came for trade purposes nd some to gain control.ex- Portuguese,Dutch British etc..

Different groups of people came to india because india was rich in wealth and agriculture and India has rare species
and rich in black soil which is good for
growing cotton. At this in Europe has
cotton textile revolution all countries were
very keen to maintain and lead their
improvement in cotton textile bases.
The Europeans felt that Europe is not
enough to maintain textile industry within
Europe. So they started to find colonies
in world to improve their cotton textile
industry. So they find many sea rote and
captured many colonies in Asia and African
countries. They captured colonies also as the sign for their countries world importance and
to show their power to other world countries.
Also for their growing population. So many
countries decided india is suitable for
every factors. Some of the groups came to india are British, French, Portugal, Dutch. etc
