because on that day.he had a test on participles nd he didnot know a single word about participles....also his teacher told that they have to recite all the rules of particles without any mistake in one chance....so he was afraid of his taecher..as he was not prepared for that ...thats the reason why franz fear to go to school to that day...

besides of goig to school...outside whether ..nd prussian soldiers drilling was more temptiong for him...
