Gandhiji took place Khilafat movement because of following reason:-
1) with the defeat of Khalifa there is rumer spread that the British Empire would be roll over Ottoman Empire.
2) Muslim leader like Mohammed Ali and Shaukat were anxiety about the movement which is took place by the British government.
3) Mohammed Ali and Shaukat Alistarted hesitation toward. rule which is introduced by Britishers.
4) Mahatma Gandhi thought that it is a better chance to bring the Hindu and Muslim under a single umbrella.
5) so Mahatma Gandhi started the Khilafat movement against the Britishers .
