Gandhi hi chose to break the salt rule because the salt is made in India only but the Indians have no right to make salts all Indians have to buy salt in very high rate . and the poor family can't afford it so to give them justice . Gandhi ji chose to break salt and take a march from Gujarat to Mumbai.
