Why did Gandhiji feel that taking the Champaran case to court was useless?

He felt that the lawyers taking huge sums of fee from the peasants was wrong, and that the real relief for them would be to be free from fear. When it comes to injustice of the sort that had fallen upon the people of Champaran, who considered the landlords to be lords above the law,the real benefits would come, only when they realise that they too have rights. They will learn self reliance and will then be truly free.

●Because Gandhiji knows that the civil disobedience movement would become more problems.
●So Gandhiji he himself decided to withdraw the champaran movement.
