Why did Gulliver feel as if everyone in England was a pygmy?

Gulliver has just been to Brobdingnag, he had been there for two years. Gulliver finds it very difficult to adjust to the size of things back in England. He feels much larger than the others,
"I looked down upon the servants and one or two friends who were in the house, as if they had been pygmies, and I a giant."
