Hyder Ali also known as Haider Ali was born at Budikote, Myosre-India and died on 7th, December 1782, Chittoor.
He was the ruler of princely states of Mysore and a Commander.
In 1769 he got an assurance from British government promising him of aid, but when the Marathas attacked in 1771 the British didn't send the assistance.
Offended by this act of British he increased his army with European and French and making a confedarcy with Nizam and Marathas for war against the Britishers.
