Swaraj' implies home lead or freedom in inward issues. Poorna Swaraj (Complete Independence) infers autonomy in inward and in addition outer issues. Jawahar Lal Nehru in the Lahore Session of the Congress in 1929 announced 'Poorna Swaraj' as the objective of the National Movement.
