Uchiha clan is one of the most powerful clan in all five great nation and known for their visual prowess but the clan was dishonored by the second hokage tobirama who thought that there might be some more people like Madara uchiha who would try to harm the village so the clan people were forced to move to the outskirts of the leaf village.

The Uchihas were sidelined from every matters of the village so they decided to revolt against the village but the third hokage and others high authorities of village already knew about the intention of uchihas. They appointed itachi who was in the anbu at that time and put him in tough situation where he had to choose between the village or his clan. For itachi the love for village was more than his clan so he killed each member of his clan except his loving younger brother Sasuke.
