Hey mate..

This is a question from the prose ''The invisible man ''
Here,
Dr. Kemp is more subdued and down to earth than Griffin. While he is not a genius of invention, his goals are not lofty and do not border on criminal. Kemp does not share Griffin's violent temper.

Kemp is a scientist with no secrets ambitious and normal social relations. this, he shares his experiments with the wider scientific community for general good, which is the purpose of science.
Griffin is more isolated in the society he remains absorbed in his experiments and harbours secret ambitions. moreover, he is very unscrupulous he does not hesitate in robbing his own father for financing his experiments and shows no remorse even on him death.
so Kemp turn out to be different because of his good intentions and normal social relations. Griffin is socially isolated and secretive with evil intense and this is the cost of his demise.
