why did krishtakka want to learn the kannada alphabet at age of sixty two?

becoz she loved to read and her granddaughter used read a story for her. so krishhtakka decided to learn how to read and write.

Deepak4311: because she was uneducated and she wanted to study...as When her granddaughter has gone in near by village at that time Triveni's famous book came and she was not able to read. She have an idea of going there but she was ashamed so she was waiting for her....Then when the granddaughter came she asked her to teach her how to read and write as in her absence she can read any sort of things...

when her granddaughter went for a wedding for a week the grandmother was not able to read the magazine on her own. she felt very illiterate and helpless and was embarrassed to ask others

hence she took the decision of learning the kannada alphabet at the age of 62
