Why did lencho write a letter to God
Answers
Lencho's fields were completely ruined by the hailstorm. He had invested all his money in farming. As a result, Lencho was left with no money at all. He had thought that his family would be unable to survive. Moreover, there was nobody to help Lencho, nonetheless, he had immense faith in God. Thus, he decided to write a letter to God, requesting for a hundred pesos as soon as possible.
The letter reached the postmaster, who out of curiosity decided to read it. He seemed to be profoundly touched by Lencho's innocence, and his immense faith in God. Therefore, he decided to help Lencho such that his faith in God does not lessen.
The postmaster, with great effort collected 70 pesos, put it in an envelope and signed 'God' on the letter. Although, Lencho, when he saw the letter, seemed to be dejected to see only 70 pesos being sent by God. Therefore, he wrote yet another letter to God in which he complained against the post-office employees and showed his resentment.
