Answer:
All of Lencho's crops had been ruined by the storm. The harvest was really important to him and he needed the money to feed his family. His only hope now was help from god. As he had no other choice, he wrote a letter to god asking for help in the from of money. The letter was received by the postmaster. He turned serious when he read Lencho's letter and wished he had such faith in god. He decided to answer the letter to keep Lencho's faith in god alive. He gathered as much money as he could and sent it to Lencho in an envelope signed as 'God'
Hope it helps!

The post master was astonished seeing Lencho's deep faith in God. So, in order not to shake Lencho's faith in God, he sends a little over half the amount (precisely 70 pesos) of money Lencho asked for. The postmaser signed it in the name of God to make Lencho believe that God answered to his prayers and to protect his faith in God.
