The Ninety Five Theses is also known as Disputation on the Power of indulgences. It was written in 1517 by Martin Luther (1483 – 1546) who was professor of Theology at the Wittenberg University in Germany. It waswritten against the practice of selling 'indulgences', by the Catholic Church.
