why did poor peasants join the civil disobedience movement?why couldn't the congress give full support to their demands

The poor peasants had a different vision of satyagraha. They believed that satyagraha gave them equal land rights and that they could all cultivate on their own land. However, since the civil disobedience movement did not grant them the desired results, they felt depressed and did not join the second time it was launched.
