Reserve Bank of India is the main i. e, head of all the banks. RBI control or regulate all the banks that the banks give loans at what interest rate, to whom the banks give etc. All the banks should show their records and performance to RBI periodically.
RBI has an important role in our economy. If RBI has not set up then the banks use the unfair means to get back their money and at what interest rate thy want to lend and no security provide to the people. So, RBI is important.
