It needs a fragmentation or division ofBritish-India in its territorial boundary. Muslims were in favour of thispartition relieving them from lower condition under the Hindu hegemony. So, partition of Bengal was held under the auspicious of Lord Curzon, Britishviceroy of India in 1905.
