why did the children rush out when the baker
arrived at the house? (20 - 30 words).
Answers
Answer:
The baker used to come at least twice a day. He used to come when he was on his selling round and again when he returned after selling all the items. The children ran to meet him because they longed for bread bangles which were made specially.
The children rushed out whenever the baker came to the house because they enjoyed the bread-bangles he made for them, and also liked his company.
Even though the baker came twice a day, the children were always excited to see him. The aroma of freshly baked bread-bangles tempted the children. Also, the baker was good-natured and enjoyed the company of children. Accordingly, children took him to be their ‘friend, companion and guide’.
