National movement as the congress had ignored their cause for offending

the Sanatanis .

2. Many dalit leaders thought that only political empowerment

and separate electorates could solve their problems.

So the movement couldn’t get their participation in Maharashtra and Nagpur

areas were the dalits organisation were quite strong.
