Why did the Gond Kings give land grants to the Brahmins ? Write with an example.

- During those times Brahmins commanded great respect among the masses and royalty as well. Brahmins were backbone of society at that time because they were literally holding views of commoners because if there was something to which Brahmins don’t agree then you can land in serious trouble and it all was because of their professions like teachers,ministers,priests,etc. which had lot of respect and they were considered to be learned in Vedas and Puranas and god’s own men also.
- Now, Kings always wanted to keep his ministers in his favor and also showcase themselves as upholders of religion which made them give grants to Brahmins because they could influence people’s opinion a lot.Few Brahmins also helped Kings in wars and some of them even helped Kings in commanding distant territories also so they would get some grant and some poor Brahmins got them as a donation in return of some service and some grants being given as guru dakshina too.
