Ans. Grandmother felt the need of education to read a particular novel ‘Kashi Yatre’ in her granddaughter’s absence. She was unable to read the latest episode the novel for which she was highly desirous. She felt dependent. She depended on her granddaughter so she decided to learn the alphabet and become self-sufficient. Her granddaughter help her to achieve the goal

grandmother was illiterate and was very intelligent.she kept a deadline of durga pooja where she could complete her course to become a so educated and come out with flying colours
