why did the Hunters gatherers travels from place to place? in what ways are these similar to different from the reason for which we travel today?
Answers
hunter gatherers were tribal people who had their own customs and religion they did not allow anyone from the outside to join them. the lived near water bodies and hunted the marine animals and animals such as pig , boar for food and they also sometimes made the skin of the animals into their clothes but they mainly hunted for food and there are still many tribal groups in India. nowadays people have settled in permanent houses and men and women travel and go to work and earn money for daily needs such as food, water, clothes and they also invest this money in buying many possessions. so there is no difference between us and the tribe as they also hunt for food and we also earn for food the only difference between us and the tribe has been the technology we have smart phones but they cannot afford to have phones for their communication. Answer:
Hunter-gatherers travelled from place-to-place:
• In search of plant and animal resources when had exhausted at one place.
• In search of smaller prey, or, in the case of deer and wild cattle, in search of grass and leaves. Therefore, those who hunted them had to follow their movements.
• Plants and trees bear fruit in different seasons. So, people may have moved from season to season in search of different kinds of plants.
• People living on the banks of rivers and lakes which are seasonal would have had to go in search of water during the dry seasons.
• Also, People may have travelled on foot to meet their friends and relatives.
