These trials became a galvanising point in the Indian Independence movement. The Bombay mutiny in the Royal Indian Navy and other mutinies in 1946 are thought to have been caused by the nationalist feelings thatwere caused by the INA trials.

Some of the soldiers were prisoners of war. They fought for the British in the Second World War. Some of them fought against their own will.

Explanation:

  • They were forced to be ruled by the British. All had a common motto to free India from the British rule. Also Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a very good leader.
  • They also wanted to work under him. Hence the INA was formed taking the Indian soldiers to fight against the British.
