Japanese allowed bose to recruit the soldiers whom they had imprisoned because of the following reasons :

- Subhash Chandra Bose understood that the britishers were the common enemy of all the countries as they were creating a harsh effect on the government system.

- He then coordinated with the Japanese government and with their support he revamped the INA ( Indian National Academy ) which consisted of Indian soldiers captured in the British army during the Battle of Singapore.
