Why did the muslims of subcontinent demanded for separate homeland?

Well there are lot of reasons why Muslims wanted to create a separate Palistan. Many of which we have read in our book and many are hidden inside some book still waiting to be revealed.

Some reasons are basic which everybody knows such as, representation in politics, autonomy of provinces, language issues, difference of ideology, difference of religion and culture.

If you ask me Muslims were scared and that's why they wanted a separate homeland. The subcontinent was ruled by Muslims for many decades but despite this the British managed to make it its colony during this time the Hindus emerged as a more organised of two major religions being followed with thir grip in almost all aspects be it administration, politics, education etc.

The Muslims had their back against the wall during this time and it was only matter of time that they decided to ask for a separare homeland because the place they considered theirs was not there and if they didn't do anything then the remaining would also had been lost.
