The narrator went to the museum to search a treatment for a small ailment f which he had a touch-hay fever for a fancy. When he got down the book and started reading it he found out that he had all the types of symptoms which was mentioned in that book except housemaid's knee. He felt proud that he was an interesting case from the medical point of view. He felt that students studying for medical science will have no need to walk down hospitals if they had him. All they need to do was to walk around him and get their diploma. He felt hurt when he thought he didn't get housemaid's knee.
