Answer:

Explanation:

The old man was a stone mason. One day his son left him as he found the work not a lucrative one. He was dejected and sat near the half finished statue of Radha and Krishna.

Soon after his son left Salim entered his workshop. He told him about the departure of his son and was worried how would he complete carving the unfinished statue. He was determined to complete the statue and started working everyday on it.

One day while working upon the statue the chisel and the hammer fell from his hand and he  fainted. When he opened his eyes he found himself wrapped under a cotton blanket.  He soon heard the sound of chisel coming out from his workshop. He thought his son Gopal has returned to help complete the statue.

When he walked near the door of the workshop he was surprised to see Salim working on the statue. The old man went near Salim and kept his hand on his shoulder.

Salim was surprised to see the old man. His only intention to work on the statue was to help the old man and that he had been practicing secretly for past two years, in the quarry.

The old man was moved by his act and wished him all the luck.

Hope this helps.
