Different animals exhibit different behaviours. Pigeons, like crows have learned to survive in cities, and flocking is their natural tendency. They also tend to fly above the rooftops, which is why they roost high up. Animals, like humans are creatures of habit too an probably have a sense of home,which is probably why they will come back, migration wise to the same area, and probably to the same spot they were born in and their parents before them (assuming here). Salmons spawn in the same grounds, turtles visit the same beaches etc. Nature sure is amazing, isn't it?
