it greatly alarmed the British they were frighted for great leaders like Lakshmi Bai who try to destroy company's rule in India

The revolt of 1857 still is considered as the best war of the freedom fights of India.

All the soldiers gathered themselves and led themselves in the revolt to protest against the torture of british.

This was the eye opener revolt for the british as the soldiers put a great pressure, anxiety on the british that did not let them expand furthur.
