A welcome initiative to protect this biodiversity . The rich mountain range is the ministerial statement issued by India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh addressing food, water, energy, and biodiversity concerns in the Himalayan region.

There are many climatic systems in the Himalayan region: tropical, subtropical, temperate and alpine.
