Why did the struggle for separate telangana state started and what was the role of the people in the movement?

KCR the present Chief Minister of Telangana had thought those days that Government of Old Andhra Pradesh was doing injustice to Telangana so the telangana movement had started; People had helped KCR in Strengthening the Movement They had succeded.

People of Telangana demanded a separate state because :

• Resources were not being used for the benefit of the local people
