A Fantasy journey
It was a fine Sunday afternoon when a boy of age 10, Rohit, was watching a movie about a fantasy land. He did like the movie, but was also annoyed by a back ache, which he got by sitting in the same posture. So he decided to lay down and and rest his head on his arm but now his arm complained. So he decided use a cushion as pillow and lay down. Finally he got comfortable, but maybe a bit too comfortable, for his eyes were now moving against his will. He struggled to keep himself awake, at least till the movie got over and finally, when the credits flashed before his eyes, without realizing, he fell asleep.
He dreamed of wandering deep into the forest, and he came in front of a large door. The sign on the door said "Wonderland".
"Wonderland...?" he wondered and he pushed the door to peep inside and was shocked to see the scenery. It indeed was a Wonderland! He could see children playing with the angels. He had the temptation to go in but was also getting worried of what he encounter. He stood still for few moments and then finally stepped in.
"It's a wonderful place!" he thought and indeed this place contained everything a child could think of. There was a heavenly garden and it also had a play station. The garden was full of delicacies a child would love and there were chocolates growing on trees! The angels called him out to join them but he was reluctant to at first but when he saw his friends, at once, he joined the fun. He kept playing with the angels and his friends till he was totally worn out. The angels gave him and others large gift boxes as a reward for playing with them.
Now, Rohit wondered what could be inside the box. As he struggled to open the box, his vision blurred. "What's happening?", he wondered and he woke up. He stared at the blank screen of his T.V. and then realized that he was watching a fantasy dream. He longed to go back, to his newly discovered Wonderland, but then he realized that he won't be able to visit there in reality, but only in dreams.
Moral - It's good to dream big but it's better if you dream of something which you can accomplish, rather than the ones which you can't.
