heya...

villagers wanted to drown taro beacause he was the only one who get the famous chinese sake juice from the waterfall..as he was very hardworking..

rest of all get only water..this made them angry..

The greedy villagers came to collect Sakè in huge numbers. When they found that there was only cold water, they became angry. They thought that Taro has deceived them. Being revengeful they wanted to drown Taro.
