Thimmakka and Bikkalu decided to rear 284 banayan trees like their children as they were childless couple.They reared banyan trees nearly 3km in karnataka.
They looked after them with love and care. Actually it would have been a great difficulty for them as they grew those trees in a barren land. They even faced some problems as the forest department was against them. But still courageously they protested against it as it was like their children.They both have achieved it and stand today in people's hearts!
