Why didn't a similar sft out of primary sector happen in case of employment

A similar shift in the case of employment don't happen because the people are not skilled to work in Industries and don't know how to run machines.


• if we compare the GDP contribution by the diff. sectors in India, then we say that earlier primary sector was dominant but now tertiary has become dominant • if we compare the three sectors on the basis of employment generation, then we find That earlier primary sector was dominant and even today it is the same • there for it can be said that a similar shift has not taken place in the case of employment because not enough jobs have been created in the secondary and tertiary sectors.
